In Road’s End, Randy Akers evokes the haunting beauty of the Irish landscape, intertwining memory, history, and the poetry of place.

Inspired by his residency at the Cill Rialaig artist retreat in County Kerry, this mixed media on  panel painting captures the essence of a journey’s culmination rather than a literal scene.

Richly layered and textured, the surface recalls Ireland’s weathered homesteads, where time and erosion have carved their mark into stone and soil.
