The pewter ornaments are hand-crafted artworks by Charles H. Reinike III.
First he sculpts the ornaments with clay. Then he creates a mould. He pours the molten pewter into the mould and lets it cool. When it is ready, he removes the sprue and carefully carves any mould marks from the ornament. Next he tones it in acid and finally polishes it to a high luster. The final step is to clean the ornament and sign it.
