Broken Dreams

This painting offers the viewer an opportunity to weave a story from the symbols in the painting.

A lone figure peers over a wall of stacked stones separating him from the area beyond. One of the three foreground trees has been cut but is sprouting. The aqueduct that once carried life-giving water has fallen into disrepair.
