Phil Sandusky is a plein-air artist known for his cityscapes. Often he is seen painting in the neighborhoods of New Orleans, where he lives and teaches. Other cities such as Atlanta and his native Jacksonville are also favorite locations where he sets up his paintbox and easel.
His works are included in many prominent collections including the New Orleans Museum of Art and the Louisiana State Museum.
He is the author of three books and several articles in American Artist Magazine.
