Borrego Springs #1

Against a deep blue field, countless small marks gather in luminous bands, perhaps suggesting the extraordinary night skies for which Borrego Springs is known. Yellow, red, green, blue, and white dots seem to sweep across the surface in closely clustered layers, with starlike specks cascading across the sky. Rather than a field of isolated points, w.e. pugh uses the concentrated bands of color to give a sense of motion.
