Hope

Hope is composed of vertical bands in layered tones of gray, blue-green, olive, and pale tan. The surface reveals fluid applications of paint, with drips, splatters, and overlapping transparencies contributing to a complex visual texture. 

A thin red line extends intermittently across the composition, providing contrast and rhythmic continuity within the field of muted color. 

The work may be oriented either vertically or horizontally, reflecting the artist’s process of painting on a flat surface and moving around the canvas.
